About the Job

*Overview:* * Based in Miami. * Reports to Head of Training - Miami. *Responsibilities:* * Works closely with Fleet Lead Instructors. * Instructs/Evaluates Boeing and Airline customer pilots in all phases of flight training, using complex state-of-the-art flight simulators, training devices, and computer programs. * Deals directly with senior management to ensure airline programs meet or exceed the desires of the airline and the airline's regulatory agent. * Partners with Training Development to develop flight training profiles and lessons and supporting materials to ensure maximum training effectiveness. * Using highly competent technical and computer knowledge and skills, applies this expertise to the design, development, acquisition, adaptation of instructional media and methods (e.g. interactive computer-based instruction, web-based instruction, instructor-led lecture, demonstration, and practical application for special projects. * Evaluates and is involved in the acceptance of new state-of-the-art flight simulators, training devices, and computer programs for training capability. * Responds to complex customer airline queries regarding crew training matters, airplane system operation, procedural issues, flight training plans, flight training devices, and regulatory agency compliance. * Interprets, coordinates, and establishes compliant training programs with National Aviation Agencies. * Establishes and ensures customer pilot trainees meet or exceed all pilot training program completion standards. * Evaluates and makes recommendations on media hardware/software platforms. * Acts as Training Development Subject Matter Expert, evaluating and recommending changes/updates to pilot training course ware.
