About the Job
**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + 7+ years working in agile environments, with a strong preference for experience with agile transformation in traditional IT shops using waterfall methods + 4+ years working as an agile coach, with demonstrable coaching beyond Scrum Master role + 5+ years successfully interacting with senior technology leaders in an advisory or consultative role + Demonstrable experience leading agile journeys for teams and organizations both as team member and as coach + Demonstrable ability to communicate ideas to a variety of audiences, including spoken and written expression, receptive listening and idea development + Demonstrable experience designing and deploying Kanban value-streams + High level of proficiency with the following software tools: + Slack, Office 365, Jira, Trello + Experience working in large enterprises (1,000+ person) + Must be able to work effectively in a non-linear, highly-collaborative environment + Must demonstrate the ability to be self-directed, intuitive, and innovative **Preferred Qualifications** + Software engineering background (CS, CE, EE, etc.) + Previous experience working as an engineer or developer + Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, having implemented them previously + Previous experience working in a software startup environment + Previous experience working in a Retail company environment + Previous experience scaling agile frameworks, in particular LeSS and Nexus **Leadership and Communication:** + Leads by example – with confidence, a positive attitude, patience, honesty and integrity, and a strong sense of commitment. + Ability to ‘read the room’, to know what is possible and what is not, and to know how to navigate program and project engagements efficiently and effectively. + Ability to engage in difficult conversations that result in positive, actionable outcomes. + Ability to navigate complex and diverse landscapes effectively. + Seeks and provides honest, transparent feedback. + Ability to build and lead high-performing project teams. + Ability to set expectations and hold individuals and team members accountable to their commitments. + Drives decision-making that favours compromise and alignment over consensus-building. + Excellent facilitation skills; ability to adapt approach to different types of engagements. + Good written and verbal communication. **Acumen and Learning Agility:** + Follows their intellectual curiosity with a beginner’s mind + Listens actively and intentionally to understand diverse perspectives and hidden dynamics + Deep understanding of technology program and portfolio management practices. + Expert-level knowledge of standards and practices for technology project lifecycle management activities and deliverables. + Advanced skills in the MS Office Product Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
