About the Job

Overview To coordinate Star Lake camp’s aquatic activities, maintaining Health & Safety standards that lead to a quality program. Responsibilities + Involvement in the total camp program with willingness to help in all areas as needed, including dining room, campfire programs, children with problems, evening programs, etc. + Promote observance of the spiritual emphasis of the program and the moral and ethical code affecting campers and staff. + Attend and contribute at staff meetings. + Responsible for sharing with, Camp Director all matters of mutual concern relating to the total welfare of the camp. Qualifications + A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and a desire to share your faith with others + College student or at least 19 years of age + Training and experience in waterfront activities + Current life guarding (LGT) certifications + WSI (Water Safety Instruction) certification + Current CPR and First Aid Certifications for the Professional Rescuer + Desire and ability to work with children and adults outdoors + Ability to relate to one’s peer group + Ability to accept guidance and supervision + Good character, integrity, and adaptability + Enthusiasm, sense of humor, patience, and self-control Job ID2017-3987 CategoryYouth Work Compensation MinUSD $1,650.00/Yr.
