About the Job

Overview To assist the Corps Officer(s) in the overall maintenance of the building. Responsibilities + Check outside perimeters by removing all unsightly debris, + Vacuum all floor mats, check all wastebaskets for trash, dust & mop lobby all halls, classrooms, and offices. + Check all bathrooms for cleanliness, replenish soap and paper towels, (sweep, clean toilets and mop floor as needed) + Sweep and mop kitchen areas. + Clean chapel (including vacuum, dusting, and polishing pews. + Check and put away all deliveries. + Clean all stairwells ( make sure they are free of debris or trash and mop when needed) + Shovel snow + Touch up paint throughout the building, minor repairs, change of lightbulbs, etc. when necessary + Fix plumbing fixtures when necessary. Seasonal Responsibilities: + Drive kettle workers to different location in the morning, pick up kettle workers in the evening + Coordinate the locations where the kettle workers are going to be placed at during the season + Paint the stands and signs and prepare all necessary equipment for the season. Repair bells and stands if needed. Qualifications + Must possess a valid,currentNew York Driver's license or obtain one within the first 2 months of hire date. + Knowledge of cleaning supplies and use them appropriately. + Able to do minor repairs for upkeep of the building.
