EDUCATION/WORK EXPERIENCE: • BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media or Public Relations. Equivalent work experience may be considered. • 1-2 years of work experience in either Communications or Marketing. • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint. • Required Typing Speed: 55-60 WPM. Spelling score of 90% and Grammar score of 90%. • Experience using a ten-key by touch calculator. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel or twist on an intermittent or continuous basis • Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and other office equipment • Ability to communicate clearly on the telephone • Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. (file boxes, etc.) ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: • Fluent with all Microsoft Office programs or equivalent. • Strong telemarking, business development and corporate relations experience. • Play a strategic, integrative role, coordinating and providing support and driving: the design, implementation, and measurement and evaluation of digital/social media/offline campaigns. • Responsible for the development of campaign-related content AND engagement and activation of target audiences. • Collobrate and contribute to the collective work and impact of The Salvation Army's Western Territory's Real Estate for Rehabilitation (RER**) project as well as all our retail and program components. • Assist the Real Estate for Rehabilitation (RER) project to create and maintain a robust, top tier donation program with Real Estate Professionals in the Western United States, dramatically increasing donations of sellable household goods from this segment of the market. • Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a digital media specialist. • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills. • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge, including identifying target markets. • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO. • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels. • Winning attributes include: o Excellent written and verbal communication. English fluency a must. o Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills; a quick thinker and doer. o Excellent interpersonal skills and sound judgment.
