Requisition Number 17-2239 Post Date 10/27/2017 Title Christmas Kettle Bell Ringer City San Francisco State CA Description The Salvation Army Golden State Division POSITION: Bell Ringer SUPERVISOR: Kettle Coordinator/Corps Officer DEPARTMENT: SF Mission Corps STATUS: Temporary Part Time OVERVIEW: The Bell Ringer is responsible for representing The Salvation Army SF Mission Corps in the Kettle Program fundraising activity during the months of November 20th to December 23rd, 2017. The Bell Ringer will report directly to the Kettle Coordinator and/or Corps Officer. This position will need to cooperate with the supervisors and directors of the other programs. DUTIES: 1. Never leave kettle unattended for any reason, at any time, except for authorized breaks and only at a secure location. 2. Wear the identification, including any special clothing, provided by The Salvation Army (TSA) at all times at the kettle stand. The ID is to be returned at the end of employment. 3. Report to work timely and present yourself in a clean and orderly condition. 4. Work the hours and location determined by the Kettle Coordinator, and if you are unable to work a regularly scheduled day, call the Corps office no later than 9:00 a.m. that morning. 5. Responsible for completing, signing and placing a daily time card in your kettle at the end of the working day. 6. Abide by all rules, regulations and instructions provided by the Kettle Coordinator and TSA. If corrective action is warranted, appropriate action will be taken, up to and including termination. 7. Friendly and outgoing, helpful and positive, with a pleasant attitude so that you will contribute to TSA’s Christmas effort.
