Requisition Number 17-1485 Post Date 7/28/2017 Title Program Monitor City San Francisco State CA Description The Salvation Army Golden State Division San Francisco Harbor Light Center POSITION: Harbor Light Program - Monitor SUPERVISOR: Harbor Light Residence Manager(s) DEPARTMENT: Harbor Light Program STATUS: Full-Time (FT) (Hourly) OVERVIEW: The Monitor works under the supervision of the Harbor Light Program Director and is responsible to the Residence Manager(s) in providing reception of visitors and program participants, monitoring and ensuring the safety of the Harbor Light facility and assisting in Residence services as directed by the Harbor Light Program Director. Requirements DUTIES: 1) Administrative a) Answer and direct incoming calls, process messages, make announcements over PA system. b) Attend staff meetings and workshops relating to the program participants. c) Carry out administrative tasks, maintain a log of daily activities, input to Bridges database, and do other required paperwork, including documentation of all incidents and other administrative and/or clerical duties as assigned. d) Other tasks as assigned by the Residence Manager(s) and/or the Program Director. 2) Residential a) Inform and document all incidents and direct to the Residence Manager(s) and Program Director. b) Keep the lobby clean and neat, free of loitering by program participants and visitors. c) Respond to all emergencies, and notify the Residence Manager(s), Program Director, Executive Director(s) and proper staff and/or agencies (Police, Fire Department). d) Responsible for the fire control system. e) Responsible for the implementation of all rules and policies, including abstinent lifestyle of program participants. f) Responsible for the security of premises by making regular rounds of the facility and other procedures as directed. QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Advanced computer literacy. 2. Experience in working with Homeless, Veterans, HCV/HIV/AIDS, Dual / Triple Diagnosis, Formerly Incarcerated, and Chemical Dependency Populations. 3. High school graduate or equivalent. 4. If in recovery, minimum of 6 months of sobriety. 5. Maintain current TB & Wellness documents – REQUIRED. 6. Strong interpersonal skills. 7.
