Requisition Number 17-2462 Post Date 11/20/2017 Title CRG - Cook City Scott Valley State CA Description POSITION: Cook SUPERVISOR: Food Services Manager DEPARTMENT: Camp Redwood Glen STATUS: Summer Camp OVERVIEW: The objective of the Cook is to assist with the daily preparation of healthy and nutritious meals, snacks, and to oversee the salad bar area. DUTIES: 1. Create, maintain, and oversee the distribution of the salad bar at the start of Lunch and Dinner 2. Assist in the preparation of all meals and snacks 3. Assist with the cleaning and care of the kitchen and all equipment 4. To fill all special program requisitions for food and supplies that come under the area of food service 5. Work in harmony with all cooks and Dining Hall Staff 6. Attend nightly campfires, camp wide events, and participate in daily bible studies 7. Assist with the cleaning and care of the stock room, reach in, and walk in 8. Any other items as may be assigned by your supervisor Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Must be at least 18 years of age 2. Must possess cooking experience and food service training 3. Must understand Christian camping and the goals of The Salvation Army’s camping program 4.
