Requisition Number 17-2466 Post Date 11/21/2017 Title CRG - Dining Room Supervisor City Scott Valley State CA Description OVERVIEW: Ensure that the Dining Hall is clean, the Wait Staff are completing daily tasks, and all campers & staff are taken care of during the meals and snack times. The objective of the Dining Room Supervisor is to supervise and lead the wait staff through the daily tasks and assignments, to keep the Dining Room clean & running efficiently before, during, and after all meals, and to plan & lead daily devotions for wait staff. DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: 1. Plan & implement daily meetings, Bible studies, activities, etc. for the Wait Staff 2. Supervision of procedures during mealtimes, providing guidance for food service staff, campers, and counseling staff to ensure efficient mealtime operation. 3. Supervision of the Wait Staff in and out of the Dining Hall. 4. Assist & follow up with any problem solving for the wait staff. 5. Scheduling daily tasks for wait staff 6. Participate with the meal count for USDA at the start of each meal time. 7. Ensure that the Staff Kitchen is kept clean and well managed. 8. Create and up-keep all summer decorations 9. Be an appropriate & effective example for both campers and staff members, exhibiting Christ-like conduct, concern, and service 10. Report any suspected child abuse issues to the Program Director and take necessary actions to report it properly 11. Report general property maintenance issues to Facilities Manager or Maintenance Crew Chief 12. Assist the Camp Director or Program Director in any other duties as requested to maintain a consistently high level of efficiency in the operation of the camp. 13. Be present and participate in camp wide evening Programs All staff may be called upon at any time to assist in the total operation of the camp. You are expected to join in all evening programs; absences are excused only through the Program Director. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Must be at least 21 years of age 2. Must possess leadership capabilities for working with young teens 3. Must possess a growing relationship with Christ PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. 2. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects and tools 3. Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
