Requisition Number 17-2094 Post Date 10/13/2017 Title Custodian City Scotts Valley State CA Description THE SALVATION ARMY CAMP REDWOOD GLEN JOB DESCRIPTION HOUSEKEEPER SUPERVISOR: Housekeeping Lead SCHEDULE: Scheduled part time as needed due to camp rental schedule. GENERAL DUTIES: To maintain all assigned housekeeping areas in a manner that presents a constant image of cleanliness, order, and a high standard of sanitation. Requirements SPECIFIC DUTIES: 1. Clean and prepare all areas for use by rental group. a. Dust down windows, doorways, and all cobwebs. b. Sweep floors and porches. c. Scrub bathroom sinks, showers, toilets, and clean mirrors. d. Mop and disinfect bathroom shower and floor. e. Re-stock all paper products. f. Empty all trash to main dumpster and replace can liner. g. Check and replace burnt light bulbs. h. Make up beds in all Lodges and guest housing and put out towels. I. Vacuum all carpets, and porch areas with rugs. 2. Collect, wash, dry, and fold any linen used by rental group. a. Maintain laundry rooms in clean and orderly fashion. b. Maintain linen room in a clean and orderly fashion. 3. Maintain inventory of supplies needed in this service. a. Order replacement supplies through the Housekeeping Lead supervisor. b. Re-stock linen room and laundry room with supplies. 4. Check smoke detectors and fire extinguishers. Replace batteries as needed in smoke detectors. If fire extinguisher has been discharged inform Facilities Supervisor to schedule service or replacement. 5. Assist the Camp Director in any duties as requested in order to maintain a consistently high level of efficiency in the operation of the camp. Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
