Requisition Number 17-0879 Post Date 4/24/2017 Title Camp Staff Member City Aurora State CO Description Summer Day Camp Aide – Aurora, Colorado The Salvation Army is seeking a Summer Day Camp Aide (2 positions) for The Aurora Community Center Summer Day Camp. Position is Non-exempt, 1 full-time and 1 part-time, temporary, 29-40hours/week, $10.40/hr. Schedule: Monday- Friday, Variable hours between 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM The Summer Day Camp Aide is responsible for assisting with supervision, guidance and caring for children (aged 5-12) enrolled in the Summer Day Camp Program under the direction of the After School Program Director. Requirements Position Qualifications: ? Previous experience working with children in a day care, school, camp or other similar setting. ? Ability to create, prepare and teach lessons including crafts, devotions, games, etc. ? Experience teaching youth utilizing positive encouragement and tailoring program to meet needs of special needs children. ? Ability to assist children with assigned school work. ? Minimally 21 years of age with a valid Colorado Driver’s License for driving position. ?
