Requisition Number 17-2250 Post Date 10/27/2017 Title Resident Manager City Denver State CO Description Part-Time Resident Manager – Harbor Light Center Denver, Colorado The Salvation Army is seeking a part-time Resident Manager who is responsible for assisting and maintaining the program standards of the Harbor Light Center. The Resident Manager will follow specific program and clerical duties as well as emergency duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and/or administration. Treating all those entering the facility with dignity and understanding, this individual will assist, as necessary, in implementing the rules of the program fairly and equitably. Requirements • High School Diploma or GED • Education and or work experience in human services helpful • Must have basic typing skills (35wpm) • Minimally 21 years of age with a valid Colorado Driver’s License • Ability to track multiple projects and communicate well, both written and oral • An understanding of alcohol and drug addictions • Ability to work with individuals with addictions and other issues related to homeless populations • A strong self-starter, able to carry on with minimal supervision • Ability to work well with others and supervise volunteers appropriately • Must be able to work with difficult individuals • Must be able to have a flexible schedule • Must live on the premises + Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities. + Please view Equal Employment Opportunity Posters provided by OFCCP here. + The contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
