Job Summary: The person hired for the position of Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for managing the supply chains for core automotive businesses including the day to day operational tasks. This includes managing manufacturing and material flows across 3M and Non-3M manufacturing sights and 3M distribution. They will be responsible for leading cross functional projects across the division. Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: + Planning, Scheduling and Reporting for key supply chains and sub-cons. + Coordinates phase in/phase out and/or new product introduction activities to maximize customer service and meet business requirements. + Works closely with business unit/division to understand customer requirements and forecasts. Analyze material flow parameters such as safety stock, order quantity, lot size, make cycle frequency, and replenishment interval. Procures materials, schedules production and distribution. + Lead, identify and implement projects to improve supply chain speed, efficiency, and inventory investment. Develop improvement plans and review progress with management. Assists and sometimes leads implementation to achieve desired results. + Responsible for Inventory, Turns and Service KPI’s for businesses and vendors/sub-cons managed. + Manage performance of manufacturing suppliers and the relationship between them and 3M. + Provide education/training to outsource locations in the areas of supply chain management, demand management, or planning tools. Provides leadership for improvement teams. + Supply Chain Analysis and Design for current state, interim and future state, SAP. Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university + Minimum of two (2) years of combined experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Sourcing, and/or Logistics in a private, public, government or military environment Preferred Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain, Operations Management, and/or Business Administration from an accredited university + Minimum of three (3) years of supply chain related experience + Minimum of one (1) year of Experience leading cross functional teams + APICS Certification or willingness to obtain + Lean Six Sigma experience + ISO/TS, auditing, MMOG/LE experience + SAP experience + Demonstrated coaching, interpersonal communication, and team leadership ability. + History of successfully applying business knowledge to support business needs and goals. Initiates, leads, and implements the process of supply chain problem identification and resolution. + Experience with DSP, SCP, COMS, i2 Rhythm planning/analysis tools, Microsoft Access, Excel. SAP user experience, including implementation, ideal. + Experience working directly with outsourced manufacturing locations + Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Location: Maplewood, MN Travel: May include up to 5% Relocation: Is not authorized This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military environments to a 3M career.
