Job Summary: The person hired for the position of Procurement Analyst will be a member of the Source to Pay Data Cleansing/Conversion team. The STP Data Team is primarily responsible for analyzing and improving data integrity, accuracy, consistency and quality of STP legacy master data in preparation for conversion to SAP. Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: + Manage data mapping rules to ensure relevant data is extracted for conversion. + Extract legacy system data using Business Objects, PeopleSoft Query, Access DB and/or SQL scripts. + Develop methods for identifying data elements that are not SAP business ready and procedures for remediation. + Create and maintain cleansing documentation and procedures. + Troubleshoot data conversion issues. + Collaborate on cross-process data defects, documenting action items and discussion reports. Communicate the actions and next steps. + Execute ERP data load readiness, post load data validations and post load in-system validation checks. Basic Qualifications: + Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university + Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Procurement role in a private, public, government or military environment Preferred Qualifications: + Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Procurement Systems Business Analyst + Experience with Business Objects reporting + Strong communication (oral/ written) and presentation skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment. + Detail oriented, ability to be self-directed, and possess excellent problem-solving skills. + Experience with PeopleSoft and/or SAP + Experience with Microsoft Office Suite + Experience working in cross-functional teams Location: Maplewood, MN Travel: May include up to 5% Relocation: Is not authorized This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military environments to a 3M career.
