Marketing Sr Manager, Inflammation Reimbursement, Access, and Value

About the Job

As a member of the US Value & Access team, the Marketing Sr Manager, Inflammation Reimbursement, Value and Access (RAV), reports to the Director, Inflammation RAV, and in collaboration with the Enbrel brand, supports development of and executes brand-specific reimbursement, access and value strategy for the Organized Customer Team (OCT) and the Inflammation sales teams to ensure payer coverage and patient access to product. Job responsibilities include: + Execution of Inflammation RAV strategy (strategy developed with Director RAV and brand team) + Execution of value-based partnerships in collaboration of Value Based Partnership team + Coordinate with Amgen Reimbursement Operations (ARO) to manage specialty pharmacy fee-for-service (FFS) data and reporting + Lead planning and logistics for RAV-sponsored workshops (e.g., value based initiatives ideation, RAV plan) + Track OCT coverage/POA goals and support dashboard activities + Point of contact for Inflammation sales force, including communication of significant payer coverage changes to Inflammation sales force and 'pull-through' execution + Collaborate with Access Marketing, RAV lead and brand to maintain/develop patient support programs in real-time as the payer environment evolves + Collaborate with Value Marketing team to create Inflammation-specific value strategy, messaging, tools for Organized Customer Team (OCT) and data generation plan in alignment with brand strategy + Conducting periodic Inflammation RAV team meetings (usually monthly) to communicate strategy and to drive alignment and execution + Collaborate with Value Marketing to develop payer clinical messaging, population health and employer-specific tools for OCT + Collaborates with Value Marketing and training to develop OCT semester plan of action, semester meeting content/training and reimbursement goals + Collaborates with Enbrel brand and Inflammation sales team to develop semester meeting content related to payer strategy and environment + Assist with strategic planning and quarterly business reviews + For sales teams and OCT, triage RAV related questions and issues and ensures that items are addressed + For sales force and OCT new hires, provides RAV-related training + RAV budget management Basic Qualifications * Doctorate degree and (2 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (2 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 1 year of Marketing experience) * Master's degree and (4 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (4 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 2 years of Marketing experience) * Bachelor's degree and (6 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (6 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 3 years of Marketing experience) * Associate's degree and (10 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (10 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 5 years of Marketing experience) * High school diploma / GED and (12 years of Marketing and/or Sales Management experience) OR (12 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 6 years of Marketing experience) Preferred Qualifications: + MBA or other Master's degree + In-depth understanding of the inflammation healthcare payer environment + Inflammation marketing or sales experience, specifically in rheumatology and/or dermatology (gastro-intestinal experience a plus) + Payer or value marketing experience, especially in highly competitive market environments + Payer account management experience + Access marketing experience + Knowledge and understanding of biosimilar marketplace + Strong analytical skills + Results and solutions-oriented + Outstanding written and verbal communication skills + Outstanding presentation skills + Project management skills and cross-functional leadership + Vendor/agency management skills + Ability to work through others and manage in a matrix environment + Ability to handle and achieve results with multiple competing priorities Amgen is an Equal Opportunity employer and will consider all qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability status.
