Learn more at or connect with us on Facebook and Twitter. **Description:** **Storeroom Person - Big Trees Lodge (Yosemite Spring 2018)** **Job Summary** : The Storeroom Person’s primary responsibility is to maintain the inventory of the storeroom to enhance the flow of the kitchen. The Storeroom person supplies kitchen staff with the requested inventory in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe and sanitary environment. Also, responsible for the setup, service and cleaning of storeroom area as directed by the Executive Chef in accordance with Aramark standards and safety and sanitation policies. **Essential Functions:** + Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment + Performs computerized inventory and ordering. + Receive, store, and issue food service supplies and materials at a storeroom of a large institutional kitchen. + Maintain records of receipts, issuances, invoices, and stock levels of supplies. + Perform stock keeping and clerical duties related to the maintenance of sufficient supplies of various items in a food service department, and prepares requisitions to replenish needed supplies. + Maintain a clean and well stocked storeroom according to standards set by regulatory agencies. + Utilize email to communicate with vendors, managers, and others. + Ensure storeroom premises are maintained in a neat and orderly fashion. + Perform inventory control of storeroom materials + Sweep, mop, and empty trash cans as needed + Must be flexible – willing to work a rotational schedule with rotational days off that may include weekends and holidays + Must be well groomed and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times + Process return stock on a daily basis and perform general maintenance of storeroom. + Coordinate the proper flow of supplies to and from the Kitchen. + Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned **Qualifications:** **Qualifications:** + Knowledge of the proper use and cleaning of kitchen equipment + Must have valid Aramark Food Handler’s Certification + Must have knowledge of all hot and cold food stations + Must be able to multitask and function in a professional manner under pressure from guests and/or supervisors + Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well is desired + Must be able to work in a fast-paced work environment **Equipment Used:** Calculator, Cutlery, Dishwasher, Chef Knives, Other Cooking Equipment, Computer, Photocopier **Travel Requirements:** Little or No Travel (>10%) **Lifting Requirements:** HEAVY - Lifting 50 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects.
