We continue to provide innovative care models, focused on improving quality and access to healthcare. **Responsibilities** The Respiratory Therapist, under general supervision, provides a variety of respiratory therapy treatments to patients with respiratory problems; performs generally semi routine or diversified duties requiring judgment in the application of broader aspects of established practices and procedures. **Qualifications** **Required Minimum Licensure/Certification:** Registered as a Respiratory Therapist by the National board for Respiratory Care and licensed as a Respiratory Care Professional (RCP) by the Georgia Composite State Board of Medical Examiners. BLS required from American Heart Association **Required Minimum Experience and Skills:** One year experience in a hospital setting preferred. Considerable knowledge of respiratory therapy principles, techniques, methods and their proper applications. Considerable knowledge of respiratory anatomy, physiology and nature of respiratory diseases. Ability to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Working knowledge of the various medications used in respiratory therapy. Ability to install and maintain equipment.
