This position will identify best practices, increase standardization, reduce costs and drive Exec quality performance across the continuum of care\. This position will consult with market directors, hospital leadership and through current infrastructures, including S3s\. The strategy includes: \* Identifies opportunities for consolidation and integration of clinical operations across all markets \* Assesses current organizational structures to support initiatives \* Develops operating plans with financial, operational metrics and quality outcomes \* Leads in standardization and selection of industry best practices \* Ensures regulatory and compliance are met \* Assists in implementing process improvements and best practice recommendations to deliver quality care and reduce overall cost Integrates improvement and patient safety standards into current and future loss prevention strategies; Advocates for clinical efficiency and performance improvement initiatives, both at the Exec, site and frontline level; Advises facility leadership on Cardiovascular patient care issues and participates in event reviews as needed in addition to the local leadership team; Conducts regular site visits and reviews; Develops customized project plans to meet the markets' unique needs in the area of population health management and seamless care delivery Leads the development, planning and coordination of multiple Clinical Institute projects as assigned; Understands resource allocation, life cycle planning, cost tracking, monitoring project scope and project risk management; Coordinates Exec operations, strategic planning, marketing/business development, patient experience, profitability and clinical outcomes within the Cardiovascular Clinical Institute Leads/facilitates the planning, organization, implementation and control of the resources needed for Exec\-wide optimal performance of the Cardiovascular Clinical Institute in coordination with the Physician Director and various physicians, clinicians and other support staff personnel Partners with Mercy Health Market/Site leadership, CEOs, and committees to facilitate quality, experience, and patient safety as a top leadership priorities in the development of strategies; Aligns strategy with existing Cardiovascular Clinical Institute projects and programs in a matrix management relationship with Market Leaders\. Coach and train Cardiovascular Leadership Teams across the Exec in the promotion partnerships across the care continuum; Provides ongoing contact with market leaders to support the successful implementation of new processes and tools Collects internal data, industry trends, best practices and peer comparison information and utilizes the required analytical capabilities to transform the data into useful knowledge used for process improvement and to effectively use data/knowledge across the organization Advances population health initiatives by overseeing cross\-continuum care pathways for select patient populations; Develops/maintains Exec\-wide metrics and implementation plans that support Exec strategic direction to ensure that organizational goals and objectives are achieved; Utilizes process improvement tools which may include lean six sigma tools, process mapping, and industry evidence based practices to define opportunities for improvement and facilitate the development of the improvement plan Develops/maintains communication strategy at all levels in the organization; Serves as Cardiovascular Institute representative and consultant to site and regional Ambulatory Service Committee, Clinical Integrated Network, Quality and Patient Safety Committees, and subcommittees as assigned \#LI\-Post **Hours** Full\-time, 40 hours per week, 8:00 a\.m\. to 5:00 p\.m\. **Equal Employment Opportunity** It is our policy to abide by all Federal and State laws, as well as, the requirements of 41 CFR 60\-1\.4\(a\), 60\-300\.5\(a\) and 60\-741\.5\(a\), prohibiting discrimination against qualified individuals based on their status as protected veterans or individuals with disabilities, and prohibiting discrimination against all individuals based on their race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin\.
