Apply Now to be considered **BASIC PURPOSE** **:** The Surgical Assistant assists the surgeon during Cardiac and General surgical procedures at the direction of the surgeon\. The S\.A\. functions as a member of the surgical team in room preparation, turnover, and facilitation of the daily surgery schedule\. **EDUCATION, SPECIALIZED AND/OR TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:** + Graduate of a Surgical Assistant program, or equivalent experience with special training to function in the SA role\. + American Heart Assocation CPR Proficiency required + Strongly prefer CVOR experience, specifically vein harvesting and suturing + Robotics experience a plus + Weekly On Call requirements with 30\-minute response time + Weekend Rotation Join our team, and you’ll have access to cutting\-edge technology\.
