**14481BR** **Title:** TFDP, Project Management **Target Openings:** 2 **Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities:** Complexity Management: Monitors and reports on programs, projects or project tasks. May support vendor management processes. Relationship Management: Monitors and reports on team tasks. May be involved with Business team. Understands and applies internal standards. Financial Management: Monitors project tasks and monitors projects against time and budget plans. Other duties as assigned. Additional components of the TFDP role include: TFDP new hire orientation where employees will gain exposure to all IT lines of business within Travelers through lines of business overviews, networking with IT leadership, and networking with peers. Mentorship structure. IT Curriculum with specific coursework in IT in general and Travelers specific IT concepts that will set a foundation for a career in IT. Cohort group that meets quarterly to connect and share best practices and discuss hot topics. Risk Taking: At an introductory level, identifies, assesses, manages and takes intelligent risks to attain objectives. **Job Category:** Information Systems, Management Information, Project/Operations Management **Job Summary:** Under direct supervision, Technology Foundational Development Program (TFDP) role combines hands on IT experience with mentorship and an IT curriculum to prepare employees for a career in Project Management roles. This position is responsible for providing Project administration support as defined by the Project Manager. This role monitors Project tasks and assists with the tracking of Project controls during planning and execution of the Projects activities. The Project Administrator works with supervision and guidance and is responsible for applying basic skills, tools and techniques to Project deliverables, processes, and systems in order to meet or exceed stakeholder needs and expectations. The Project Administrator operates within defined parameters using a proven Project Management Methodology. This job does not manage others. **Position Type:** Entry Level **Education, Work Experience & Knowledge:** Obtained or in the process of obtaining an IT or business related (IT minor) undergraduate or graduate degree with a preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher. Preferred undergraduate/graduate majors include: Computer Science, Computer and Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics with a minor in Information Technology, and Management Information Systems. Demonstrated initiative and extra-curricular involvement showcasing IT skills preferred. For experienced or career changing candidates, full-time professional experience in IT of three years or less preferred. **Physical Requirements:** Operates standard office equipment continuously. Continuous sitting. Continuous use of Keyboards, Sporadic 10-Key. **Minimum Qualifications:** Obtained or in the process of obtaining an IT or business related undergraduate or graduate degree and 0-3 years of IT related experience (can include one or more internship experiences in the IT field).
