Plans, organizes and conducts medically prescribed occupational therapy programs to facilitate/restore functional independence in all patient populations. Facilitates the learning of pre-vocational, cognitive, sensory motor and social skills to diminish or correct pathology and to promote and maintain health. Supervises Occupational Therapist Assistants, Rehab Techs and OT / OTA students. Works independently; seeks supervision when necessary. Required Skills + Master''s or Bachelor''s degree, graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program + Current Missouri license in Occupational Therapy + Verbal and written communication skills required to discuss and document treatment programs and work issues + Also requires the physical ability to teach and demonstrate locomotor skills, high level coordination and gross / fine motor skills, etc + Must maintain certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support for continued employment.
