We are the perfect fit for the future.* **Job Title: **Sales & Marketing Coordinator **Location: **Laurel, MD **Description: ** ALEX - Alternative Experts is now hiring a Sales and Marketing Coordinator in Laurel, MD. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the efforts of our estimating and sales group performing administrative tasks and providing marketing support responsibilities as assigned by Sales Manager. This involves learning estimating and proposal development processes and support these activities. Includes tracking of project opportunities, downloading printing and dissemination of bid documents, and making calls to solicit participation from our vendors and subs. Specific duties include but are not limited to: * Input and maintain Sales Force documentation * Regularly engage with sales personnel and ensure that all project information is up to date * Provide sales meeting documentation * Maintain bid list for front desk * Complete and submit owner and General Contractors' Pre-Qualification forms * Create, maintain and update employee resumes for use in presentations and project RFP responses * Create and update project lists for marketing purposes * Assist in the preparation of presentations and Request for Proposal (RFP) responses * Review our proposal content to assure that the owner’s proposal requirements are addressed * Assure quality of our written documents including accuracy of grammar, spelling and punctuation * Work with sales and estimating team members to learn, achieve best practice, and improve our proposal and presentation and marketing work processes and product * Assist in the development of our annual branch Marketing and Account Plan and assist in planning and tracking of the annual marketing budget * Ensure branch page on the company website stays up to date, including submissions of recent project wins, new hire announcements and project status updates * Announce/publicize project wins to the office and field employees * Collect photographs of projects, new employees and company events and publicize as appropriate **Required Qualifications: ** * 1-5 years of experience * Experience or potential to write and edit proposals and client presentations * Experience using Microsoft Office suite (Word & PowerPoint) * Excellent written & verbal communication skills **Required Education: ** * Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, or other relevant field *All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status, or disability.
