We have experience working with an expansive and diverse client-base, which comprises all types of businesses multinationals, local companies, privately-owned organizations, entrepreneurs, family businesses, trusts, partnerships, and private individuals. **Job Description** As a member of the Benefits Services practice, you will work with companies to help them evaluate, redesign and manage their health & welfare and retirement benefit programs. You will design pricing strategies, select healthcare delivery systems, and develop risk management and funding approaches that best suit the companies' employee populations and overall human resource strategies. You will provide annual actuarial valuation and related services to a wide range of companies, as well as assisting a large number of clients with specific issues that they may have. Retirement Benefits Services helps companies address the need to mitigate pension expense volatility and enhance investment performance by utilizing sophisticated asset allocation, hedging and risk management strategies. Health and Welfare Benefit Services include: - Valuations - Actuarial analysis - Plan design/redesign - Vendor selection/implementation - Vendor/plan performance reviews - Consumer directed healthcare - Health and productivity/wellness - Postretirement programs/Medicare Part D Retirement Benefit Services include: - Valuations - Actuarial analysis - Plan design/redesign - Coverage/discrimination testing and strategy - Qualified plan operational reviews and strategy - Vendor selection/implementation - Asset/liability mix studies and investment consulting - International benefits **Position/Program Requirements** Knowledge Preferred: Extensive knowledge of the design, funding, valuation, cost management, tax and financial reporting aspects of retirement and/or health and welfare plans in a major consulting firm or corporate environment. Thorough knowledge of retirement and/or health plan financial reporting, data analysis and domestic and global tax and compliance issues. Considerable knowledge of actuarial analysis. Skills Preferred: Extensive technical skills in FAS 87, 106, 112, and 158 analysis and valuations. Thorough experience identifying and addressing client needs: developing and sustaining deep client relationships using networking, negotiation and persuasion skills to identify and sell potential new service opportunities; preparing and presenting complex written and verbal materials; and defining resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collection. Thorough experience as a team leader: leading teams to generate a vision, establish direction and motivate members, create an atmosphere of trust, leverage diverse views, coach staff, and encourage improvement and innovation. Minimum Years of Experience Necessary: 8 Minimum Degree(s) and Certification(s) Required: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting or Finance required. Master of Science, Master of Science in Tax, Master of Business Administration, or Juris Doctor required. Certified Public Accountant, Society of Human Resources Professional, or Certified Compensation Professional.
