General Duties and Responsibilities The Residential Lead will sustain continued involvement in the following areas: + Maintaining a positive work environment which lends itself to teamwork, + Advocate for all persons served within Community Living Services. + Open communication between all involved team members. + Support attitudes and awareness which will enhance the lives of the persons served within Community Living Services, especially with regard to: + health + welfare/happiness + relationships + interests, capacities, and gifts/talents + goals/dreams (both long term and short term) + preferences and choices + what works for that individual + respect The Residential Lead is responsible for ensuring completion of the following documentation: + Resident Profiles/Medical Histories + Progress Reports + ISP’s (including skill plans & data sheets) Med logs (and all other necessary daily charts) + Incident report/Serious incident reports The Residential Lead is responsible for helping with the following “In-House” trainings and reviews with each new support staff within the specified timelines: + Member orientation + House orientation + Review of current ISP’s, Resident Profiles, Medical Histories, and Behavior Treatment Plans (as applicable) Education and Requirements + High school diploma or equivalent + Previous experience in a residential setting preferred + Valid Driver's License with clean driving record + Must be 21 years or older + Must clear DES Central Registry + Must be able to obtain and maintain a fingerprint clearance card + Must be able to lift: Male: 75 pounds, Female: 50 pounds + Must be proficient in English (read, write, and comprehend) + Successfully complete all training for position within established timelines
