FI/Community Support Professional Job Type:Part-Time Location:Ithaca, NY Job Description:The main purpose of this part time position is to work together with individuals with developmental disabilities and those who care about them to create opportunities for achieving their dreams for success and happiness through increased independence, belonging, mastery, and generosity.The Fiscal Management Services/Community Support Professional (FMS/CSP) position is one in which the employee is directly supervised by the participant and their circle of support but also responsible to the FMS for their employer.Provide individualized services to people with disabilities and their families as outlined in their plan to include: respite for families, teaching, modeling, and supporting skill development in a variety of areas at home and in the community.Participate as an active member of the person’s team providing ideas, input, and advocacy for the person related to his or her Consolidated Supports and Services Plan.As requested by the person served, consult with other professionals who work with the individual (school teachers, etc.) to facilitate meaningful activities.Attend training to improve services provided. Training may be provided by the person and their circle of support and Franziska Racker Centers.Complete job requirements (training, PPD, driver’s status, etc) within appropriate time frames.Report any potential incident to supervisors and Franziska Racker Centers.Document all service provision including timesheets/service notes and mileage/spending reimbursements (as approved in the CSS Plan) according to program and regulatory requirements ( i.e. contemporaneously documenting service provision) and submit per the prescribed bi-weekly schedule.Requirements:Successful candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED and be an approved driver (at least 20 years old, at least three years driving experience, with a relatively clean record.)We offer health, dental, 403(b), paid time off, and tuition assistant for eligible staff working 27.5 hours on a weekly scheduled basis.We are proud to be an EEO employer M/F/D/V.
