Relief Staff - Family Resource Program - Tompkins/Cortland/Tioga Counties Job Type:Relief/Substitute Location:Ithaca, NY Job Description:The Family Resource Program provides individualized supports to people living on their own or with their families. We assign staff to specific people and service is provided in 2 to 6 hour increments from once each week to 5 or 6 times each week, depending on the person and his/her needs. Service may include support within the person’s home or during community based activities. For most assignments, a personal vehicle and approved driver status are required. OPWDD training is also required; some people need more experienced and more highly trained staff than others.Relief staff would be trained to work with identified individuals and would be familiar with their service plans and needs prior to fulfilling assignments.The hours listed are comprehensive timeframes for various people and assignments across the counties, with each county’s hours including 10 to 20 different people being supported on different days in various locations.
