Opening **GENERAL SUMMARY:** The University of Rochester School of Nursing is seeking a faculty candidate for a clinical faculty position in the APNN Program. Faculty positions at the School of Nursing are based on 9 month appointments. Candidates must have a RN license and relevant practice experience. Prior experience teaching in a baccalaureate program preferred. Candidates are expected to have a record of scholarly work, a commitment to interdisciplinary approaches and teaching experience. Rank and salary are commensurate with education and experience. Clinical faculty are eligible for promotion along the clinical track. The School of Nursing offers nationally accredited baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral degree programs. The ongoing interaction of education, research, and practice benefits the consumer by ensuring quality nursing care. **SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:** Teach groups of students in the school’s accelerated nursing program in labs and/or clinical settings Participate in program faculty meetings and faculty committees as needed or selected. Assist in student clinical assessments; grading of assignments, exams, and care plans. Serve as a resource/advisor/mentor for students and hold office hours as needed *REQUIREMENTS*: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, current NYS licensure, demonstrated record of clinical excellence, superior interpersonal skills required. Post-offer health assessment required. Complete all agency requirements for clinical faculty compliance and credentialing.
