This position will support and interact with a wide range of program staff, DoD and military personnel. In addition, the Administrative Specialist II will have front line contacts with internal and external customers requiring active problem solving and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. *Candidates should have the following:* * *MUST HAVE A SECRET CLEARANCE OR THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN A SECRET CLEARANCE* * Answering phones * Performs data entry * Filing * Ensures records are prepared, maintained, filed, transferred, and disposed of according to the ARIMS. * Receives, disburses, and destroys classified documents according to AR 380-5. * Operates computer equipment using software (e.g., Microsoft Office software). *Requirements:* * High school diploma. * Two years of general office experience. * Experience in using Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Power Point, Excel, and Word * Ability to follow established filing and distributing procedures. * Knowledge of grammar, spelling, capitalizing, and punctuating to identify errors and make corrections. *Desired Skills:* * Experience with GEFEBS is a plus, but not mandatory.
